New product feature allows organizations to build simple, branded forms and enhance user experience in Salesforce community spaces
INDIANAPOLIS (March 27, 2018) — Formstack, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company with a mission to empower its users through simple and elegant tools that remove the complexity from everyday business processes, is announcing the release of Community Forms, a new feature of its native Salesforce app, available on the Salesforce AppExchange.
Community Forms easily capture data entered by users in Salesforce communities through branded, dynamic forms that can be published directly in Salesforce Community Cloud. Users can authenticate and prefill Formstack forms with their data in Salesforce.
“Community Forms derived from customer feedback and the need to collect data and connect to their Salesforce community members,” said Formstack CEO Chris Byers. “With this new product feature, we’ve made it possible for our users to simplify their data collection, complete forms faster and enhance their user experience in Salesforce communities.”
With Community Forms, users can connect data to standard or custom Salesforce objects—including leads, accounts and cases—and tie submissions to logged-in users without having to upsert. The forms are built using a simple drag-and-drop feature and then deployed into the community with a custom Lightning component. Setup is easy and intuitive with no field mapping or links required.
Community Forms is the latest enhancement to Formstack’s native Salesforce app and is also compatible with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The app is available on the AppExchange and gives users access to powerful form tools for their Salesforce organization. Learn more at Formstack.com/salesforce/features.
